![]() In the first portion of Leviticus, it begins with Vayikra (And He Called). Leviticus is probably one of the most understudied books of the Bible. However, as we examine its pages more carefully, we actually see a blueprint on how to "draw near" unto the Creator. As we begin to look at this passage with open hearts and minds, we are forced to ask ourselves a number of questions. Do all of the korbanot (offerenings) point only to Messiah? Were the offerings to atone for sin? Did offernings only pertain to certain kinds of sins? Will the offerings be reinstituted in the future? If so, would that be a blatant denial of Messiah and be considered an abomination by The Almighty? These and other inportant questions will be brought up during the course of this study.
