Bill Sperry-Host of "The Living Room"
This transitional process can be very difficult. Some people have a very tough time in walking the truth while at the same time trying to keep peace with their family. These are experiences that can vary from person to person and can be a shorter duration or much longer in some cases. Although I remember many of my own personal struggles with these issues, at this point it is something that really has little impact and something that I rarely think about. Unfortunately, it seems that most of the Messianic Movement has remained camped out in the city of "Against." We are against Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Sunday worship, unclean foods, etc."
There is not a problem in being against things that are unclean, but I believe the movement has become very stagnant and that the focus and teachings of many are constantly negitive. I am not content to just be "against", I want to move forward, and am determined to do so, even if many stay camped forever in the land of "Against."
Bill Sperry from "The Living Room" radio program invited me on his program last week to discuss some of these issues. The first half hour of the show is music, but you can forward through to 31:45 minutes into the show to go right to the discussion. You can listen to the program at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/billsperry/2013/03/23/the-living-room or by clicking the arrow below. I hope that the discussion is of benefit to people in any phase of their walk.
