In the Torah portion Beshalach "When he sent out," we witness the miraculous deliverance of the Children of Israel from Egypt and the destruction of Pharoah and his army in the Red Sea. We see the Messiah in so many of the elements in this passage such as the "Bread from heaven" and the "Rock that followed them" and provided water for the entire nation. From the blood of the lamb that was applied to their doorposts and lintels, the mikveh (baptism) through the Red Sea, and their preparation for receiving the Torah, we see the process of salvation illustrated in a very clear way.
In the portion Vayechai, (And he lived) Jacob blesses Joseph and his two sons and then gives blessings/prophecies over the rest of his sons. As we study this section, it gives us insight into the ministry of the Messiah as well as all of the tribes of Israel during the last days. Many of the things discussed in this audio are essential in undertanding both history and the future.
